Providers cancelling a session
You must cancel 48 hours or more in advance of an upcoming booked slot, allowing time for the parent to find an alternative provider. MeTime reserves the right to remove a provider for repeat cancellations within this time frame.
You may close an unbooked slot/change your schedule at any time without penalty.
Please review our sick policy. In the event you – or a child of yours that is in your care during an upcoming booked session – are ill, please cancel the session(s) and email email@example.com with a doctor’s note. We will ensure you are not penalized for the late cancellation.
Parents cancelling a session
Parents can cancel without penalty more than 12 hours in advance of the booked session. If they cancel within the 12-hour window, they will be charged a cancellation fee. Providers will receive a notification of any parent cancellation.
If a parent repeatedly cancels without at least 12 hours’ notice, they may be removed from the platform to make sure everyone is respecting our providers’ time. In the event a parent does not show up for their booked session without any notice or cancellation, the full payment for that booking is still paid out to you, the provider.
In the event a parent needs to move their appointment up or back by 30 minutes while remaining with their original provider, they may cancel and create a new slot on the platform.
If it’s within the 12-hour cancellation window, they will contact us and we will work with you to determine if you can accommodate the change.
