You can learn all about the child and parent in the booking details on the provider dashboard to prepare for your session.
This will tell you the child’s name, age, habits, and contact information for the parent.
When a parent is dropping off a child for MeTime, the provider is responsible for ensuring that the parent and child match that on the booking.
No other family member beyond the parent who booked the session is allowed to drop-off/pick-up at this time. This will be possible in a future version of MeTime with family accounts.
You may ask to see the parent’s identification if you have any question or concern about their identity matching the name and photo on the booking.
A MeTime session starts at 10am. What time do I need to be ready?
To ensure a smooth drop-off transition for each child and allow time for parents and providers to become acquainted, parents are allowed to arrive up to 15 minutes early for their session. This is what we call a buffer period. This means if a session starts at 10am, you should be ready for their arrival at 9:45am. Parents cannot leave before their session starts, and you are not paid for this time.
Parents are charged for the time they book, even if they arrive late to drop-off. If they arrive late for pick-up, they are charged in 15-minute increments for the overage. Please add notes about the parents’ timeliness of drop-off and pick-up in your review at the end of the session.
What is the parent responsible for at drop-off?
Parents are responsible for bringing anything their child may need during their time with the provider, unless otherwise specifically offered by the provider at the time of booking. This includes, if applicable: diapers, breast milk, formula, or milk. Unless otherwise indicated in your booking, parents are also responsible for snacks and meals their child would normally have during the timeframe they are with the provider.
